November 5th & 6th, 2004 was the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania's anual "Trains & Troops" event. The Iron Acres Railroad gang was on hand with one of our portable tracks and had it set up inside the museum running around some of the museums locomotives and rolling stock. Motive power was our electric DL&W F-3 pulling 2 'T'-riders, assorted military loaded flat cars and our Lackawanna passenger observation car. Rides consisted of general public, military staff, reinactors, railroad workers and more going around the 320' loop twice. We hauled over 1200 people and had a great time doing it. On Saturday eveing the museum set up a U.S.O club atmosphere and we had a swing band and dancing, The Abbott & Costtello tribute show was there and did a fabulous job, what a great time.
